Coen graduated from the School of Business at Grant MacEwan University with a Diploma in Travel & Tourism in just 14 months. That means he graduated from High School in 2024 and University in 2025. He wants to work on a ship as a cruise director. Can’t wait to sea where in the world he ends up. We love you so much and are so so proud of you @basejackman .

I remember coming into this program and not knowing fully what to expect like I had brief ideas but nothing I was overly confident that I would see what I was thinking.

this last year throughout my time in the program I ended up finding a group of friends that have become good friends of mine over time. even though I didn’t get the chance to take photos with everyone I still wanted to tag everybody I could apart of this group of amazing people as a thank you for just being such good friends. you guys helped make school feel less like school and more like a nice comfortable home. I’m so grateful for everybody I met throughout the program and I can’t wait to see how these connections take me forwards and all of you are some of the best friends I’ve been able to make.

I honestly can’t even believe how fast that program went like just wow it blows me away.
I still remember back in high school trying to figure out where exactly I wanted my journey to take me first and landing on the travel and tourism program at macewan it was a tough 13 months too (a year of schooling and a month of practicum) still feels crazy it went by so fast but I’ve loved all the close friends I’ve made over the last year and such as well to see where these friendships take me as I grow as a person.

I can officially say I am now a 2024 high school graduate and a 2025 university graduate (of the travel and tourism program) which not a lot of people can really say as most programs aren’t typically this short. but yeah just wow what a journey and I can’t wait to see where this takes me from here on.

What a amazing musical like there’s so much positive things I could say about this musical, from the casting to the tech everything was phenomenal it was all so well done, that second act especially like I’d watch it over and over again if I could like just WOW!
Coen was offered admission into Grant MacEwan University . He will be studying Travel & Tourism. I almost bought the Grant MacEwan mom hoodie too but thought maybe that was too much. He has worked hard and it wasn’t easy. We are so proud of you!!
