Playing alongside your own brother is unreal, and there isn’t any chemistry quite like it. Nor is there a better person to be releasing music alongside.
It’s not so much that @basedcargo will always be a 2-person outfit, nor is it a stage name or marketing thing. Essentially it’s a work in progress, at us finally finishing off a couple of those “90% finished” drafts once and for all, then using our professional marketing and multimedia skills to somehow beam that out to the wider world in a way that the paint sticks to the wall. Ultimately we are both in a similar position, very much into our production, but we’ve been on and off for about a decade, making it work around our various other endeavours. What we’ve got in the pipeline is worth promoting and taking seriously, so therefore we try take our time with it. It seems like slowly but surely, especially with the reactions from the people around us, it might soon be time to start kicking dubs out the nest.

We will spend our first year focusing on creating mixes which showcase our broad tastes in electronic music and releasing our own tracks.
