Hello Base community! As we enter our 10th Anniversary, we’re delighted to unveil our 2025-26 season highlights.
Base has spent ten years creating access, visibility, and opportunity for experimental artists, growing our impact within the Seattle arts community. Through the power of our Flourish fundraising campaign, we’re enhancing our Residency program, 12 Minutes Max, and introducing two new pilot programs!
Our Base Residency will host six artists, participating in two-week residencies at Base from January to July 2026. We’ll host an extra edition of 12 Minutes Max–three in total for the season. And introducing…
Pairings: Collaborations in Movement and Music, curated by Bebe Miller and Lori Goldston.
Jump/Cut: The Moving Body On Screen, curated by Jay Kuehner.
Our pilot programs respond to the call from our community to create more diverse offerings that centralize multidisciplinary, experimental research.
Start saving dates in your calendar for 2026! Thank you for being part of ten years of Base–we couldn’t have done it without our remarkable community.

“As a clown, the work really doesn’t exist until it meets the audience. The audience teaches me what it is—if it’s funny or tragic or both or neither. In the pressure of trying to communicate with a crowd outside my head is where the thing begins to cohere. Although it’s terrifying, it’s also very thrilling.” — Alex Tatarsky
And…we have Free and Reduced-cost tickets available, with support from 4Culture! Snag a ticket at the link in our bio.
