Duo Dafne:
Duo Dafne, founded by Emma Campàs and Gemma Vigo, is an emerging ensemble from the Robert Schumann University of Music in Düsseldorf. The duo was formed in March 2024 under the artistic direction of Eduardo Inestal and Mark Hampson. The two musicians, both born in Catalonia in 2001, have known each other since their joint training at the Institut Escola Artístic Oriol Martorell in Barcelona. They later continued their studies at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu and are currently completing their master’s degree at the Robert Schumann University of Music.
The duo is distinguished by its stylistic versatility and performs music from various eras and genres, including works by J. S. Bach, Franz Schubert, Astor Piazzolla, Enric Granados, and Paco de Lucía.
Başak Merev:
Başak Merev is a Turkish pianist, singer, and performer.
She grew up with traditional folk music and started from the age of 5 with a classical piano education. She came to Germany for her bachelor’s degree and studied at Folkwang University, where she later on completed her master’s degree in professional piano performance.
She likes to go back to her roots through her projects, like with Uykusuz Anılar (Sleepless Memories), a conceptual concert project with Turkish love songs. Other recent projects include FremdFreund, a multidisciplinary piece with voice and movement, and
Von einer Küste zu Anderen, focusing on folk songs in the Turkish and Greek language.
AmirReza:
AmirReza is a sound artist and composer based in Cologne. His work explores the boundaries between sound, atmosphere, and emotion. blending elements of ambient, electronic, and experimental music. His compositions invite listeners into an immersive soundscape.

„FremdFreund“verbindet Tanz und Stimme, Sprache und Bewegung. Aus der emotionalen Wahrnehmung einer fremden Sprache entsteht ein körperlicher Ausdruck, der das Spannungsfeld zwischen Fremdheit und Vertrautheit erforscht. Das Stück lädt ein, Empathie für das Unbekannte zu erleben und gesellschaftliche sowie kulturelle Begegnungen neu zu betrachten.

Das Kollektiv BirteBaşak setzt sich mit der deutsch-türkischen Kultur auseinander und erforscht die Begegnung von Sprache, Bewegung und Identität. Sie kommen aus den Bereichen zeitgenössischer Tanz und klassischem Klavier, teilen jedoch eine gemeinsame Faszination sowohl für folkloristische Musik und traditionelle Tanzformen, als auch für interdisziplinäre Performance-Kunst. Mit einem Interesse an psychologischen Zusammenhängen beobachten sie, wie Emotionen und gesellschaftliche Kommunikation unser Gefühl von Zugehörigkeit prägen.
