This week, we welcomed 57 interns from 23 different colleges and universities to our Southfield headquarters for orientation. This cohort is about to embark on a 12-week journey, and we can't wait to see what they accomplish this summer!

Barton Malow + M. B. Kahn, in association with McFarland Construction, are underway on MUSC Health's new 87-acre medical campus. The project includes a 154,000 SF hospital and a 63,500 SF Medical Office Building, bringing world-class care to the Carolinas.

Barton Malow team members were proud to be part of this year's record-breaking Michigan Construction Career Days event, presented by M.A.S.C.I and hosted at the Operating Engineers 324 Career Center in Howell.
Over 5,200 students from more than 100 Michigan schools came to experience hands-on learning from dozens of skilled trades unions and contractors, and to learn about construction programs at multiple colleges and universities, as well as government and industry programs. We're proud to participate in these events and support the next generation of industry leaders!
The Orlando Health St. Cloud Cath Lab and ICU Expansion was recently completed, delivering lasting critical care to the community through two cardiac catheterization labs and 10 new ICU rooms.
In honor of National Hospital Week, we're reflecting on what it means to build in healthcare. It means working feet from patients who never knew you were there and upholding an unwavering standard because the people on the other side of the wall are counting on it. We're proud of every team member who showed up with that responsibility at the forefront of their minds.

Acrisure Amphitheater is nearly complete, and the Pioneer Construction-Barton Malow teams are putting the finishing touches on a venue that’s going to make a big impact in West Michigan.
Opening Friday, May 15, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the amphitheater will feature 7,000 fixed seats, 5,000 lawn seats, a performance platform, talent villa, food and beverage spaces, and dedicated ticketing and refreshment facilities.

For our project team in Central Virginia, Construction Safety Week got hands-on when Inbiodyn's one-of-a-kind Slip Simulator came to the jobsite — a mobile, controlled environment designed to give team members real experience navigating slippery, sloped, and uneven ground.
Thank you to Lee Construction Group for collaborating, and to the Associated General Contractors of Virginia (AGCVA) for coming out to see it in action. Training like this is how we make sure every team member is equipped to look out for themselves and each other.
