I had the immense privilege of subbing as Principal Flute for @metopera ‘s production of Madama Butterfly this past Saturday evening! Since the production has been running for a while, the procedure was for me to watch a performance from the pit before stepping in—thank you to the @metorchestra for the very warm welcome 🪈
While it’s not an Irish jig, I do feel lucky to share the Telemann B Minor Fantasia! ☘️ I love the unique contrast between slow and fast in this first movement- the full fantasia is available on my YouTube channel now. 🪈
