For nearly 30 years, Bart Grönefeld and Tim Grönefeld shared a close friendship with master engraver Kees Engelbarts, a bond that evolved into an extraordinary collaboration.

A touch of Dutch with the @GroneOldenzaal Manueel One 'Sjef's One' 🟠
It features a tremblage salmon dial at the centre, surrounded by a two-step brushed rhodium-plated dial with diamond-cut around the edge. Individual polished diamond-cut hour baton markers are applied with an overhang at the tip, floating above the tremblage salmon centre with the metallic GRØNE logo.

Introducing the Moment Meter, an all-new chapter for GRØNE as the Grönefeld Brothers move into a bold new design direction with their expressive manual-winding chronograph. Named to capture life’s significant spur-of-the-moment memories — from a first kiss to a decisive UEFA freekick, or even the shock of a vintage Porsche repair bill thanks to an errant sheep — the Moment Meter remains undeniably Grönefeld in its design language and DNA. It is a meticulous study in dial construction and movement aesthetics, crafted with the same spirit that defines their atelier work.
The dial is a showcase of layered complexity. A salmon sunburst main dial sets the tone, framed by diamond-cut polished steel indices, themselves an evolution of those found on the Brothers’ haute-horlogerie creations. Raised concave and convex subdial plateaus introduce sculptural depth, each finished with radial graining on rhodium surfaces. Blued hour and minute hands contrast against a vivid orange chronograph needle, while a baby-blue pulsometer scale encircles the periphery for a touch of playful sophistication.
Inside, the Moment Meter is powered by a column-wheel manual-winding chronograph movement developed in partnership with Manufacture La Joux-Perret. Its anthracite-toned ruthenium architecture is accented by gold engravings and finished to the highest standards. Revealed through a sapphire caseback, framed by GRØNE’s signature orange gasket, the movement captures both mechanical precision and the unmistakable flair of Dutch heritage.
Priced at €3,490 (excluding VAT/duties/shipping), the GRØNE Moment Meter is limited to 300 pieces and will not be repeated. Orders will be available on 3 December 2025, 3:00 PM Amsterdam CET.
