It started innocent enough with coffee and a cookie… then the table slowly filled up. A glossy chocolate croissant, a ham croissant Max claimed immediately, a tuna sandwich that felt right with a last name like Fischer, cheesy bread that disappeared fast, and a mysterious purple drink that somehow tied it all together.
Every swipe is something we’d happily order again.

Max and I walked into @barsusannenyc planning to “just get coffee.”
Five minutes later we’re deep into croissants, sandwiches, pastries, and a mysterious purple drink we absolutely could not stop ordering.
Max tapped out early thanks to a lethal cookie + coffee combo.
I was busy falling in love with a chocolate croissant while he countered with a ham croissant like he just moved to Paris.
With a last name like Fischer, I had no choice but to go for the tuna sandwich.
Then came cheesy bread, a cranberry pastry Max inhaled, and suddenly we’re wondering why this Williamsburg spot isn’t packed 24/7.
NYC… this one’s a sleeper.
