I’m getting very emotional, realizing my break with @sketcherei is coming closer. Over the past 6 years, have been organizing burlesque life drawing sessions, something that started as a small hobby and grew into an amazing journey. I’ve met so many incredible people along the way - both sketchers and burlesque performers. I’ve never been one to take many photos of myself, always behind the camera: measuring the time, putting on the playlists, setting up the stage, managing Zoom livestreams. But looking through the few photos I’ve found from these years, the bittersweet feeling is overwhelming. We have 7 more sessions left before my maternity break. Art for diapers 👶 I’m Alexandra, founder of @sketcherei Burlesque life drawings. For more than six years, I’ve been drawing nearly every Monday — and I created a lot of paintings. 🤰Now I’m 36 weeks pregnant, and I need to make space for my baby. I also need to buy diapers, that I realized quite expensive. So I’m letting some of these drawings go. I’ve put together a selection of works on my website.
