The Whiskyfind for Bar Silent Third Kyoto Bruichladdich 2004 13yo Sherry Butt #1543, 506 bottles, 66%. On the nose, wood varnish, bright cherries, sherry spices. Quite the sherry bomb. Palate has some savouriness, juicy at the same time, citrus, sherry spices, the slightest hint of peat. Opens up very well with some water. Stonefruits appear, fruit compote, wood varnish. It is chewy and long finish. Sensational drop.
