'It is with a full heart and a deep breath that we have decided it’s time to say goodbye to our time at Barry Parade Public House. We aren’t going to waffle on about the state of the hospitality industry, as everyone knows how hard it is to open and keep running a small hospitality business. It’s only for the crazy few who do it and whether you open for 1 year or 10, it’s a roller coaster of the best times and the shittest.
But we are extremely proud of what we have done and would love to celebrate and go out with a big smile on our faces knowing you have enjoyed coming in to see us. We have two (2) weeks left of service and will be opening the next Sundays to give you all one hell of a hang over for your Mondays. Kicking off this Sunday 22nd with the Celebration of Birth and Life of our favourite neighbourhood spot and finally our favourite (and will get weird) Celebration of Death on Sunday 29th. As for details, thank yous and shout outs. We will have plenty of time for more posts down the track, but for now you still have time to get your ass into Barry Parade for some goodbye’s and crip hi-fives from the team.'

This week is our final week of service, so on Sunday we are hosting a party to celebrate this amazing venue we call home. It's going to be a long day, opening the doors at 12pm and closing them for the last time at midnight.
We will be open all week, so if you can't make it to Sunday you still have a chance to come get a drink!
