It’s been a minute since I posted a Think Piece 🤔💭 an idea, some thoughts for us to discuss and nitpick over.. Well we are here!
So in the midst of having an hour long morning conversation with my family @boogsneffect@certified_pat after bumping my head on the wall all day Monday, trying to figure this puzzle of artist development, I was enlightened to described this method called “The Inside/outside theory” that I normally use while trying to develop acts.
FYI: This could be something that exist already or not either way who cares it’s something I use and a thought I wanted to share.
So during our convo, I start listing all the things that co-exist (not fully detailed) within an artists career and path that also co-exist when building or maintaining a home.
Why? Because to me an artist career is his or hers home/property and it’s the place people tend to care about the most. Your home provides stability, comfort, it’s built for work, Leisure, shelter, food, etc when done right.
And I believe an artists career provides the same things and more when done right.
So I lay it out in these tweets without fully going into details on each stages of the work but you can get a clear idea of the thought process.
I wish I had a more affective way of delivering these thoughts fully but for now we are here:
