Come join me in the tasting room at 30 Oldham St before Saturday March 28th, as that will be the last day it is open to the public in this location. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for the support during this second chapter of Barrique. I hope to see you again in the future. Toward the end of last year, I learned that this building on Oldham St will be going away in 2026, and I made the difficult decision to pause new production after December. That decision allowed me to focus on blending and packaging the final sonnet of barrel-aged wild beer from this building while reconnecting with many of you across the bar. This vintage of bottles and kegs will need time to condition, but I believe they may become some of the best blends we have crafted to date, and I’m excited to share them with you in the future. While we wait, our core beer Haus Pils will remain available in the market. To the small and dedicated staff who have been by my side for the past five years, I will forever be grateful for all of you and what you delivered to elevate this brand. I started Barrique in 2017 as a proof of concept, an outlet for art, and a dream of crafting beer with intention and place. Moving to this location in 2021, our team carried those values forward, and I could not be more proud of what we accomplished. To the patrons and fans: you are the reason I keep grinding, keep putting quality first, and keep pushing forward. This old-world approach to European-style beer is unique, and it means a great deal that you choose to spend your hard-earned money on what we craft. Please take the next few weeks to stop in, say hello, purchase some beers for your home cellar, and celebrate the past five years in this building. Beer to me is art, and I am not done with art.

🍻 Bones & All Czech Pale Lager 5.0% ABV 🍻 Brewed in collaboration with @goodwordbrewing . Originally brewed at Good Word, we’ve brought this lager collaboration home to our Nashville brewhouse. Bones & All is a Czech Pale Lager brewed with Weyermann Floor Malted Bohemian Pilsner malt and whole leaf Saaz. Triple decocted and finished with krausen, then given a bone cold rest for a very long while (11 weeks from grain to glass). Soft, malty character leads the way, followed by a semi dry body and a firm, classic bitterness. Whole leaf Saaz adds a subtle zesty citrus note, working in unison with noble hop character to set this easy drinking Czech lager apart. Available starting today in Nashville on draft from our LUKR Czech faucets. Also packaged in 4 pack 16 oz cans featuring label art by Good Word, drawing inspiration from Barrique’s wild beer cans with a bottle on the front. Grab some to take home and enjoy with fried chicken, in true Good Word fashion. Huge shoutout to our forever homie Todd for making this ongoing collaboration possible.

🍺Klimawandel – Continental Pilsner - 4.9% ABV🍺 Klimawandel (“Climate Change”) is a continental pilsner brewed with intention. German malt, German and French hops, and Czech yeast come together in this 4.9% ABV traditional pilsner steeped in the brewing heritage of Central Europe. As the global climate continues to shift, the German hop industry has experienced significant changes in yield, quality, and harvest timing. One notable result is a steady decline in alpha acid levels year after year. Klimawandel was intentionally brewed using some of the lowest-alpha hops we could source: German Hallertau Mittelfrüh (3.6% AA) and French Strisselspalt (2.4% AA). Achieving our desired bitterness required nearly 50% more hop vegetal matter in the kettle compared to some of our other pilsners. Built on a base of Weyermann Pilsner malt, the malt profile is clean with a distinctly German character. The hop expression shines with classic noble notes of dried grass, nettle, lemongrass, and subtle spice. Stop by the tasting room starting tomorrow, Thursday February 5th, to enjoy a glass of Klimawandel and grab a fresh 4 pack to go. In a nod to the early days of the tasting room, we’re serving Klimawandel with patience: slow-poured and crowned with bright, whippy white foam to elevate the drinking experience the way a pilsner was meant to be enjoyed.

🌸🍾Fleur de Pêche - Wild Ale with Peach Blossoms🍾🌸 New to the tasting room in bottle and on draft this weekend. Fleur de Pêche is a beer that has lived in Joel’s head for years, and this past spring we were finally able to make it a reality. Partnering with our good friends at @morninggloryorchard , we went into the peach orchard during spring pruning and hand picked excess blossoms, capturing the short window when they are at their most aromatic. A single cask of three year old spontaneous style ale was selected and infused with over 15 gallons (8 pounds) of petite, delicate peach blossoms. This was blended with a young turbid mash saison and allowed to macerate for one month before packaging. The beer was bottled in 375ml bottles and bottle conditioned for over eight months. Expect earthy notes of cherry bark and rose petals, supported by a firm gueuze like minerality, light acidity, and subtle Belgian saison esters.
330 bottles produced, with only a few kegs available for on site draft. Stop by the tasting room this weekend during our first weekend of winter hours to try this new blend and grab a few bottles to cellar. Open Thursday 4 to 9, Friday 2 to 9, Saturday 12 to 9. Be sure to grab a liter of our Goldstück Helles, which is back on draft, while you are here. Cheers!

🍻Velryba 11° - Czech Pale Lager - 4.6%🍻 Barrique Brewing & Blending × The Whale Craft Beer Collective Velryba, A Czech pale lager brewed in collaboration with our friends at The Whale Craft Beer Collective. The Whale crew are tireless champions of independent beer in the Southeast and, more importantly, dear friends. Hopped with a particularly joyful and expressive lot of Saaz we selected, grown in Tirschitz, Czech Republic. The result is bright and precise: punchy citrus up front, soft chamomile florals through the middle, and a gentle pear note drifting into a crisp, mineral close. 🍻Bockgeist - Bourbon Barrel Aged Doppelbock · 9.4%🍻 The spirit of the bock emerges slowly from cold cellars and quiet barrels. This formidable Doppelbock, brewed with Munich, Pilsner, and Caramunich malts, undergoes a traditional double decoction to draw out layers of depth and shadowed sweetness. After fermentation, the beer is laid to rest in freshly dumped bourbon barrels for twelve weeks of cold lagering in our walk-in, where oak and spirit entwine without excess. The result is rich waves of toasted bread crust, dark caramel, and malted sweetness, threaded with bourbon warmth, vanilla-laced oak, and a soft echo of char. Full-bodied and contemplative, Bockgeist drinks with surprising grace for its strength. Stop in the tasting room starting today to warm up with Bockgeist on draft and grab a 4-pack to bring to your Christmas festivities!

🍾Pointes De Sapin - Barrel Aged Wild Ale with Spruce Tips - 7.5% ABV🍾 Spruce tips are the bright green, tender new growth from the ends of spruce branches, harvested in spring for their fresh, citrusy, pine driven character. Pointes De Sapin is a blended wild ale drawn from a hazy wort stream of Destructive Interference, fermented in oak barrels for six months, alongside a two year old spontaneously fermented TenneSPON. The blend was matured for an additional eight months in an orange curaçao cask, with the final two months spent on fresh spruce tips overnighted from the Pacific Northwest, before bottle conditioning an additional six months. The result is a bright and lemon forward yet warm and resinous offering, with citrus, herbal, and mint driven notes supported by a medium perceived sweetness and a full bodied mouthfeel. Pointes De Sapin is a truly unique Christmas treat. Shoutout to our dear friends @beermarketeers for the beautiful, one of a kind label. 264 bottles produced. Available on draft and in 375ml bottles starting tomorrow 12/19/25, alongside our newest stout / barleywine blend Shapes of Silence, Cantillon Sang Blue, and Fantôme Saison.

*** ON DRAFT 12/19/25 ***
Fantôme Saison – Farmhouse-Style Saison - Soy, Belgium Another shoutout to our distribution partners at @bestbrandsinc for the opportunity to pour a keg from one of the most unique Saison brewers in the world. Founded in 1988, Brasserie Fantôme has earned international acclaim and a devoted cult following among lovers of farmhouse ales. Owned and operated by Dany Prignon, Fantôme is renowned for its idiosyncratic interpretations of the Saison style, often incorporating herbs, spices, or fruit juice in unexpected and expressive ways. This is a delicious, textural, and highly effervescent country ale. Bright gold in color, it shows lively citrus notes and a sparkling acidity. Reminiscent of fine Champagne or lambic, yet unmistakably its own thing. Fantôme Saison joins the tap list on Friday, 12/19/25, alongside Shapes of Silence, our Stout/Barleywine blend bottle release, and Cantillon Sang Bleu.
