This wasn’t generic safety training. We built the session around practical job site scenarios their team may actually encounter, including: • Addressing workplace harassment — Understanding how to meet employees where they are emotionally, listen effectively, and navigate difficult conversations with professionalism and care. • Managing unauthorized trespassers — Learning how to assess situations, communicate calmly, de-escalate tension, and reduce the likelihood of confrontation. Too often, workplace safety training focuses only on reaction. We believe prevention starts with communication. When teams are equipped with the right interpersonal skills, they’re better prepared to protect themselves, their coworkers, and everyone on the job site. We hit the ground running on Day 1 framing, jumping straight into framing and nearly completing the entire first floor in a single day. Masters Week is tee‑ing off just down the road from The Tree Farm Golf Club 🌲⛳ Just 30 minutes from Augusta, this private golf club went from rows of pine trees to a premier destination golf club complete with secluded guest cabins, a clubhouse, pro shop, locker rooms, and dining, all designed to blend seamlessly into the surrounding landscape. ⁠ Our Raleigh team recently had the opportunity to sponsor and participate in a high school S.H.E.D. Build with Connect for Success, and it’s an experience we won’t soon forget.⁠ ⁠ Connect for Success bridges the gap between students and future careers, and this all‑girls team showed exactly why that mission matters. From day one, they brought determination, teamwork, and pride to every step of the build.⁠ ⁠ Their hard work paid off in a big way, earning 4th place out of 9 teams, their highest finish to date. Even more impressive? Their attention to detail, willingness to learn, and confidence that grew stronger with every board they placed.⁠ ⁠ It was an absolute pleasure mentoring these young women and watching them realize what they’re capable of.
