The last stop on @kylieminogue ‘s North American Tension Tour was jam-packed with the talent, vocals, beats, moves, hooks, looks, magic, connection, spectacle, stamina and JOY you’d only expect from a true legendary pop icon of this magnitude. Needless to say, we LOST OUR MINDS when she hollered, “Shout out to the some of “The Residence” cast here tonight! I’m only singing this ONCE tonight!” Before launching into her multi-platinum hit.
(A reference to Episode 2 of “The Residence” where she exclaims, “I’ve sung “Can’t Get You Out of My Head” seven times! …Seven FUCKING times!”)

I was lucky to be on a TV show for 12 incredible years. It was wonderfully steady work. But no matter how deep my gratitude practice was at the time, there’s a point where you naturally begin to get comfortable. If the pandemic, the writers’ strike, the actors’ strike, the death of Andre Braugher, the death of Gavin Creel, the LA fires, and the insane state of the current world have taught me anything, it’s to reinvest in the old cliché, “take nothing for granted.”
The entire film industry’s proverbial IRON has grown colder as of late, so I choose to recognize my involvement in a show like “The Residence” as a wonderful and fleeting moment of HEAT. The iron is hot so why not strike? I choose to lean in. I choose to shed my old underdog energy that no longer serves me and step into my power. Sharing vulnerability can be scary, but that’s what creates intimacy and connection. And so I’m choosing to share a little more myself in an effort to keep the energy channels open. Giving so I can receive / receiving so I can give. May we ALL dive deeper into immediacy, bask in the warmth of the sun while it shines☀️, and as Kylie Minogue says, “Hold On To Now.”

Last night’s premiere was magic incarnate. ✨ We started shooting “The Residence” a whopping two years ago and to say it was worth the wait is a massive understatement.
