Reservations are now live.
This June, Barr returns to its home on Strandgade.
After a major renovation, the harborside space that noma first called home is getting ready to reopen. It marks the beginning of a new chapter for Barr, and the team is getting ready to welcome you back.
As we return to Strandgade, the DNA of Barr remains at the core. Some of the classics you know and love will stay, alongside a sense of fresh energy in the kitchen. We’ve also spent time building a wine cellar we’re truly excited about — a collection that moves between the classic and the more adventurous. The beer is still very much part of who we are, now joined by a growing cocktail offering.
Reservations are now open for June 1 and beyond.
We look forward to welcoming you. - link in bio 🔗
A few more evenings around the table.
Our time at Barr inside noma was meant to be brief — but it’s been something we’re not quite ready to let go of just yet.
We’ll be extending our residency through until May 17.
A little more time for long dinners.
For shared plates passed across the table.
For the room to fill, settle, and come alive each night.
Alongside the long table, we’ve also opened the private dining room — both as an extension of the experience, and as a space to gather more intimately.
At the same time, we continue working on what’s next — preparing to reopen Barr in its next chapter towards the end of May. We’ll share more very soon.
For now, a few more evenings here.
Bookings are now open.
We would love to have you with us.

BARR AT NOMA
Final days of our residency at @nomacph !
A few days left of the long table, shared plates, beautiful wines & spring evenings in Copenhagen. 🌿
#BarrAtNoma #BarrCPH
A pairing designed to bring people together around the communal table. 🍷
Chosen with conviviality, craftsmanship, and flavor in mind, each bottle is meant to pair harmoniously with our dishes, bringing out new textures, little surprises, and moments worth lingering over.
From bright Mosel Riesling and expressive Austrian Grüner to juicy Loire reds and joyful alpine pét-nat sparkle, this is our love letter to the beauty of natural wine. ✨
Lesom “Niveau” Riesling 2023 - Bright Mosel Riesling with citrus, mineral freshness, and vibrant acidity.
Johannes Zillinger “Reflexion K” Grüner Veltliner 2024- Textured Austrian Grüner with white pepper, orchard fruit, and lively freshness.
Calvez Bobinet “Ruben” 2021 - Juicy Loire red with fresh berries, soft spice, and an earthy edge.
Renardat-Fâche Cerdon du Bugey - Light sparkling rosé with strawberry, floral notes, and delicate sweetness.

At Barr, we cook with the rhythm of the season 🌿 Fresh produce, preserved flavours, and ingredients at their very best.
Our chicken terrine with crisp radish, fresh herbs, and Barr pickles brings together brightness, texture, and the clean, honest flavours we love to work with.
Rooted in the North, and always true to our DNA. Simple ingredients, thoughtful craftsmanship, and bold preservation traditions. 🥒
As we move into the final week of our residency, these are the kinds of dishes that continue to define the table at Barr.
From the steep canyons of Southern Huila to a little cup at Barr ☕️ @nomaprojects
During our Noma residency, we’re serving a beautiful filter coffee from La Perla del Otún by Luis Alberto Jojoa. Think floral, juicy, and softly peach-like, with the kind of sweetness that lingers long after the last sip.
A coffee shaped by time, place, and careful hands.

Garden sips 🌿🍸
A Replanted Negroni with pine vermouth, bitter, akvavit & gin
and a Rabarber Sour with rhubarb gin, rhubarb shrub - basically the garden in cocktail form.
Just a little reminder to slow down, soak up the sunshine, and enjoy the small moments that end up meaning the most 🤍
Nothing says home quite like schnitzel for staff lunch 🫶☀️
One of the most important moments of the day for us is staff meal - a chance for everyone to pause together, share food, catch up, and reset before service begins.
And right now, with Copenhagen finally giving us sunshine again, being able to take that moment outside by the water feels pretty special. A little taste of Strandgade while we continue our residency at @nomacph
And some days are a little extra special, because there’s dessert too. Today: tri-colour ice cream in the sunshine 🍦
Spring in a spoonful 🍋☀️
Our menu is shaped by the season around us. Bright, fresh, and slowly unfolding into spring. During these final days in residency at noma, guests will be served this vanilla pudding with rhubarb compote, bay leaf whipped cream, and vibrant lemon zest.
And with Copenhagen finally settling into longer days and golden evenings, there’s no better time to gather around the table. The city feels alive again, sunlight on the streets, crisp air, and that unmistakable energy that arrives with the first real warmth of the season.
Barr at @nomacph , until May 17. Book some of the last seats, via link in bio.
