A new neighborhood bistro Berlin Schöneberg waited for! @barlevain took over the old Faelt location just 5 mins from my home and I couldn’t be happier.🤸♀️
Lately more and more cute cafés and restaurants are opening up in our hood. This place feels super cozy and welcoming straight. Run by owners with expertise from @tuluslotrekberlin and @barra_berlin the menu focus is def on highlighting quality ingredients! ✨
Short menus are always a plus for me! Bar Levain offers little bites and nibbles such as the beans w lemon zest and chili crisp (which I chose) or bread, sardines, mortadella, bratwurst, celeriac soup, … those are supplemented by four main dishes. Here I went for cavatelli in onion broth w wild garlic oil. Both plates I dined were simply perfect and so unique! They arrived super fast btw and service was the cutest.
Can’t wait to be back at this gem for the celeriac skewer and the boeuf bourguignon w parsnip - table next to me ordered this and it looked so good! 🌞
