When I think about it, I’m not sure that there is anything in this world that I have loved more than Ahsoka. Getting to be her mom was one of the most significant roles I have ever gotten to fulfill and getting to love her was an honor that I cherished every second of for the short 9 years I got to do it.
On November 1st my baby girl passed on. Her affection was so special, she loved us in such a holy way and moments with her brought peace, wholeness, and reconciliation to my soul.
In her youth Ahsoka was agile and confident in her abilities to hunt and kill prey. She had a ferocity and playful demand to her that made witnessing her in those years so lively. She was full of heart and perseverance that carried through her character as she was early diagnosed with Addison’s disease and her condition softened her vitality, tho it seemed like she always held truth of her will and never wavered on using it to let us know how she felt about the monthly vet visits, about her right to treats, and as well about how deeply she loved us.
Ahsoka loved morning snuggles, snacks, snow, her pink elephant, face pets, being outside- belly to the grass, and lying symmetrically with Iorek and even though I joked that she tolerated Iorek at best, he was her companion and she loved him deeply as well.
She was sweet and discerning which made receiving her love all the more precious and intentional. She taught me so much about loving and caring for another life, and my life is better because of every moment I got to spend with her.
Her spirit turned the sky pink the night she ascended, it was spectacular just like she was, and every time I see a sky like hers I’ll know she’s nuzzling me.
I’ll love you forever little woot. You are my heart, I’ll always be your mom, rest easy my sweet girl.

I’ll be focused on pirouettes but reviewing anything I’ve taught in the past if you’ve taken my previous classes!

Next month I’ll do a repeat of my December class series which is great for all levels but will have a specific class geared towards those who have never touched a ropedart before and have been wanting to get started, and as well one specified class for those who are more advanced in their skillset and are looking to mix things up a little!
