Prickly Greatclub 🦔
Covered in barbs, briars, and thorns, this greatclub deals 1d8 piercing damage as opposed to bludgeoning. Additionally, once per short rest you can cause a successful hit to lodge 2d4 briars into the target, dealing 1 piercing damage per piece at the end of each of their turns. The thorns fall out at a rate of one thorn per round.
Alternatively, the target can remove all lodged briars at once by spending an action to do so.
