Last week, we were honored to welcome Bard alumni /ae and co-directors Adam Khalil ’11 and Zack Khalil ’14 back to campus as part of the Bard College Center for Indigenous Studies Alumni Speaker Series. Co-presented with the Center for Moving Image Arts, the evening featured a screening of Aanikoobijigan [ancestor/great-grandparent/great-grandchild], followed by a thoughtful panel discussion on storytelling, collaboration, and Indigenous futures. A special thank you to Adam and Zack for returning to Bard to share their work, insight, and creative journey with our community. We’re also grateful to everyone who joined us for this memorable evening at the Jim Ottaway Jr. Film Center. 🎥 Reel by Zach Butler ’29 (@zachvisions ) #bardianandproud #bardimpact

Happy Graduation to our Qorn-loving graduates out there! 🎓💛 Before there was BjornQorn, there were two @bardcollege roommates with late night popcorn parties and a dream. Congrats to this year’s grads, and may your next chapter be as unexpected and rewarding as Bjorn and Jamie’s.

Bard alumna Juliana Spahr ’88 has been awarded the 2026 Pulitzer Prize for Poetry for her collection Ars Poeticas. Spahr’s work—known for weaving together the personal and the political—continues to challenge and expand what poetry can do in times of urgency and change. Join us in celebrating this remarkable achievement. #bardimpact #bardianandproud @pulitzerprizes @bardcollege Photo by Ruby Wallau for Northeastern University
