Ulrikke Bak is an author graduated form The Danish Academy of Creative Writing in 2022. In 2024 she made her debut with the novel Love Looks Bleak, and will be reading from her latest book Book of Psalm (2026) for the concert

It is a dream come true to let you know that I have added another concert in Cph - this time solo in the beautiful Grand Piano space of @drkoncerthuset , Studio 3, April 29th.
Thank you all so much for all your sweet messages and for selling out my release show at Alice, I am truly overwhelmed, and cannot wait to perform all of Crossfade for all of you.
My concert in studie 3 is all about the piano. I love this instrument so much, as it has followed me all my life, and opened up a world of music to me. I feel so privileged to have the opportunity to play in this beautiful room, made for this specific instrument. Butterflies all over when I think about it.

The original title for the album was 'Out Of Focus' - as in, what I've been - but also in the same sense of 'being out of office' (but I'll be back again next week), or 'out of season' (too cold or too hot, too early too late). The name Crossfade replaced this notion of always naming what I am not doing or lacking, and instead softening the chapters I tend to divide everything into ("I was bad, but now I'm better"), allowing feelings and dreams to coexist, and fold on top of each other.
