When worlds collide! ⚔️🕰️ Had an absolute blast moderating this crazy meeting between Clive Standen (aka Rollo from Vikings) and Paul Anderson (Arthur Shelby from Peaky Blinders) at Bahrain Comic Con! We had two legends, two iconic empires, and enough fun to start a raid or establish a new business territory.

As an interviewer, that moment where you and your guest meet and together craft a story worth remembering is something I'll never take for granted.

If you think being an Emcee is just holding a microphone and smiling at a crowd, let me introduce you to the real backstage hustle. The moment the spotlight fades, sometimes, again SOMETIMES, we morph into a stage manager, emergency tech-support, PR crisis firefighter, impromptu content strategist, backstage motivational speaker, therapist (yeah 😆) and and and.
We don’t wear all these hats because it’s in the contract or It's part of a scope. We do it because the second we step into the venue, we become part of the event family. We catch the curveballs, put out the fires (usually metaphorically), and do absolutely whatever it takes behind the scenes to elevate the experience for everyone in the event.
Here’s to the unspoken BTS of hosting. The mic SOMETIMES is only 10% of the job! 🎤🔥.
