Hello everyone.
This is a reminder post for those who are planning to visit our bar, or have been but to remind themselves of who we are prior to make any plans in the future.
1. We are a 12 seated bar.
If you’re not a fan of disappointment, we highly recommend booking. Please message us via Facebook & Instagram DM, or simply search us in google to call or text us. Please don’t call us during business hours.
2. We do not accommodate a group bigger than 4ppl. Strictly no split group booking. If you wish to bring a group of 6 by booking separately and demanding to be seated side by side, please think again. Please respect our house policy.
3. This is a bar for those who find intimacy in a dark, focused bar. If this sounds intimidating, we recommend other lovely bars that our amazing city has to offer.
4. Have fun, don’t be loud.
Other guest’s experiences are equally important as yours. We do not hesitate to ask the guest politely to lower the voice if required.
5. Our job is to provide service and intoxicate you at the same time, but we do not wish to push it too far. When we kindly ask you to reconsider your choice, please listen and don’t take it personally. We’re trying to do the right thing.
6. We make drinks based on your preferences, so please be clear with your dietary requirements when we ask you as soon as you are seated.
7. We do not make drinks listed below.
- Dirty Martinis.
- Singapore Sling.
- Any drinks ordered based on looks.
8. If you know your preferences, fantastic. If you don’t, equally fantastic. Just simply be open minded to talk about it. Do not fake your preferences. Life’s too short to be not be yourself.
9. We get thrilled to have those who wish to visit the bar themselves without any partners or friends. Don’t be shy. We too are misfits.
10. No flashes when taking photos or videos.

CHEF’s TABLE.
Collaboration of dreams.
Did you know Vini was a chef for a short period of time?
If you ask who I respect the most, are those who are handy, those who can play music, paint, and who puts love on a plate for others, Chefs.
Now I get to work with the people who I admire the most.
Bar Peripheral will be hosting CHEF’s TABLE, where we fill our 12 seated bar with passion and freedom, servicing both food and drinks to the highest possible standards, for a very reasonable price.
We are here to destroy the stereotype that quality doesn’t always need to be pricy, by allowing the chef to use the bar free of charge so rent, utilities and staff cost etc doesn’t have to be added to the total value. We are thrilled to provide an environment where we fully focus on the bar and the chef, with a 12 spotlighted seats.
All food related revenue goes straight to the chef 100%.
Drinks are served by Vini as per usual, with a small list of recommended drinks to compliment the food, but of course just like a normal Bar Peripheral experience, the freedom to choose based on preferences is of course in place.
The first chef to start our small history class will be announced tomorrow.

HARDWATER STUDIO
Dear guests and regulars of Bar Peripheral.
It is a great deal of pleasure to introduce my second venture, a crystal clear ice manufacturing and delivery service in South Australia.
This project took me a bit over a year to finally reach this point. I thank all my supporters and enemies for all the motivation for my second dream to come true soon.
All of our guests at Bar Peripheral understands the importance and necessity of quality ice in drinks. Our goal is to make South Australian bars, restaurants and home bars to have access to the best ice in the country, with an unbeatable price.
HARDWATER STUDIO will launch in July, Ice sculptures and engraving services will most likely launch near end of this year.

WHAT A NIGHT
We thank everyone who joined Chef Yewinn’s amazing Nigiri Mayhem last night.
Tonight, tomorrow and Thursday, 3 more nights left and I’m briefly heading to Sydney, reopening next Tuesday after all the easter holidays are over.
Other than ANZAC day, we will be open after Easter all the way, of course keeping the usual Sunday closure as usual.
Stop by before Easter! Find your eggs in the dark.
