A sad announcement to all of our loyal customers, as well as our fantastic suppliers and everyone who has supported us since opening in June 2021…
Copo will be closing in late January 2025.
Property developers purchased the building our bar is located in, and they plan to totally rebuild and transform the property over the next 18-24 months. As such, we must vacate the property to allow the works to take place. It’s a very sad moment for us, but there is some good news…
When the redevelopment is complete, we will be coming back to the same location with a new look, but the same Copo feel. We will be working on plans while we are shut, and look forward to returning with great excitement.
There are whispers that we may even open a pop-up in 2025, while we wait to return to Hall Street. Stay tuned! But no promises - we don’t know if this is possible yet, but it might be…
Sunday Jan 20th will be our last day of trading. With that in mind, we hope to see as many of you as possible down at the bar over the coming weeks. We have a few events planned so that we can all say farewell to Copo - keep an eye out for further announcements here.

This time last year, Copo threw two massive closing parties across two weekends to *temporarily* farewell our bar and our fantastic customer base. Here are some pics from back then 🧡
Anyone who has driven down Hall St lately will see that our bar is now a big hole in the ground. However come March 2027 (approx 🤞) we will be BACK. 14 months and counting…
In the meantime, we have some big plans for 2026 as we plan ahead for Copo 2.0. Plus, we have some parties in the mix… Stay tuned 😏
