I am so honored & proud to be the Costume Designer for the highest budgeted Vietnamese movie ever made and finally share a first look at the teaser images for HO LINH TRANG SI - THE MYSTERY OF KING DINH’S TOMB. This film wasn’t just a job; it was a 9-week marathon on location in Vietnam to bring the most ambitious Vietnamese movie in history to the screen: an immersive period epic, meticulously reviving the grandeur and history of 10th century Vietnam.
The making of these costumes is honestly a movie in itself, with obstacles & odds that was a journey as epic as the film itself. From navigating historical hurdles of painstakingly finding fabrics accurate to 979 AD to creating all the details, shapes and silhouettes of a time period that has since lost a lot of historical documentation.
Every ounce of blood, sweat, tears, dedication & adversity came to the making of 1000s of costumes all custom made from Scratch. One costume Look alone would have multiple layers, requiring 10+ different fabrics that we scoured every market and shop spanning all of Vietnam (Hanoi & Ho Chi Minh City) as well as Los Angeles. It was a journey of dedication and constant problem-solving and i can’t wait to show you the behind the scenes making of it.
With every war you have your warriors. I am so thankful for my incredible assistant Phuong Bien—whom I couldn’t have navigated this mammoth production without. It was literally just the two of us as a costume Department during prep, moving mountains & making miracles on the back of a Motorbike. Huge gratitude to the Artistic brilliant talents of Mai Lam & Na Bong Chua for their amazing collaboration in bringing this world to life. Thank you 🥹💖 And to my all women Tailoring team led by Chi Van for all the costume construction & always having my back at every hour imaginable. 🥹
This movie will be released in Theaters September 2, 2026.

(Even Jay Manuel wore my denim & washed leather jacket 🤗) So much handwork, leather & suede , braiding, crochet & macramé and a whole lotta grommets and metalwork. Being a part of the America’s Next Top Model world was such a fun and amazing era of my career. In total I designed & created Looks & wardrobe for 4 Cycles of ANTM promo campaign and had my own episode on ANTM as a Guest Designer where the girls all did a challenge wearing my designs 🥹

My Birthday and Bon Voyage Party this year was so deeply special for me. Surrounded by my dearest family & friends, I felt SO LOVED and Cocooned with unconditional support & celebration. This was definitely a reflective birthday year.
I just felt SO Blessed with ALL that i have and that my cups are truly full and I have sooo many loved ones that keep my heart and cups always full. And yesss…. I said Bon Voyage party. I’m taking off to do my big NEXT. I’m all the emotions right now . . . it’s exhilarating and scary, takes my breath away and the nervous heart racing excitement of the unknown that unfolds. But its the year of the Fire Horse and we must RUN with the wind through all those doors that open. I’ve come too far to stay the same so I must Propel forward into the unknown to create the next Chapter, Era of my Story. I can’t wait to tell you all about … You will definitely know 🥰✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
