Saddened by the loss of the lovely Beryl Vertue . She was a trailblazer for women in film and television . From the Goons , Men behaving Badly to Sherlock, she was amazing .
I always remember a wet Tuesday night in Splott when Beryl and her daughter Sue popped in to talk about a “little show“ they were producing for the BBC . That show was Sherlock and it’s been the catalyst for everything we have done since . Tonight we raise a glass in her honour . RIP lovely lady
