@banditfest began as a one-day backyard concert with a purpose to create a space where young musicians could come together in-person to support each other while performing original music.
It was a response to the longing local youth felt for an event like this. After the festival’s inaugural showcase, the momentum began to build. Their efforts were met with a resounding “yes please” from everyone who attended the backyard show, and Banditfest was born.
We catch up with founders Olive Borowski, Sydney Pettit and Mya Dickson-Stanhope to find out what’s in store for the Bandits this year.
