My newest profile interview is officially live! Thank you so much to Randall Park for taking the time to speak with me, he's such a warm and lovely personality and I really had such a good time hearing from him and his colorful career. I remember first seeing him on a @wongfupro video years ago, and watching him take career to all corners of the industry has been such a pleasure. I particularly enjoy talking to Asian Americans in the industry and learning about their come-up story and how they managed to balance the journey to hopeful success while also the pressures that come from family. Supremely humble and talented, I couldn't be more pleased with how this profile turned out. Go check it out in the link in my bio and tune into #TheResidence on @netflix from @shondaland this weekend!

I was in Santa Fe recently for the world premiere of #InTheLostLands hosted by @Blancpain1735 🎥 and I got to spend some times with George R R Martin @grrm_nm at walking around Santa Fe's historic railyard district for @Collider . We went to Beastly Books @beastlybooksofficial , the Jean Cocteau cinema @jeancocteaucinema , saw the Sky Railway @skyrailway , and got an early look at the new bar Milk of the Poppy! I also got a chance to chat with Milla Jovovich and Paul W.S. Anderson about the movie.
In The Lost Lands is in theaters now!

Come with us to the world premiere of #InTheLostLands with @Blancpain1735 🎥
Collider's Therese Lacson joined George R R Martin @grrm_nm at the Jean Cocteau cinema in Santa Fe, New Mexico to watch the movie and hear about the short story it was based on.

Revitalizing this account to say that Emerald Fennell's newest Wuthering Heights is nothing less than an insult to Emily Brontë's legacy. A movie that follows only half of the book and removes its key characters is not an adaptation. This is self-insert fanfiction. It's a romance novel. And honestly, saying that is an insult to both fanfiction and romance novels. Review linked in the bio!
"You didn't seem nervous at all!" they said. Well, here's a look into my psyche to see how anxious and shifty I am when I'm interviewing someone! Thank god to my video editors who cut all of this stuff out. And thank god for my Wellbutrin prescription.
I had a big, big trip this week that I've been looking forward to for the last few weeks! I went to Santa Fe for the world premiere of In the Lost Lands and got to interview not only Milla Jovovich and Paul W.S. Anderson but the great George R.R. Martin! You all know how much of a nerd I am for his Westeros and ASOIAF stuff so it was such a pleasure to get to talk with him and see the little section of Santa Fe that he had taken over. If you know me, you know I'm a yapper and I would have loved far more time with him to talk about his other projects and writings but I love interviewing authors, they are some of the most thoughtful people and I couldn't imagine having a better interview. It was a fantastic way for me to ring in my birthday (which is today!) and a great feather to put in my cap as a journalist!

Newest interview with the lovely @jenniferlovehewitt on this week's 9-1-1 episode. If you were as shocked as I was by that cliffhanger, check out the link in the bio and read up!
I really did try to give this a chance and Daredevil was one of my favorites but the cracks were showing long before the first episode premiered of this show. Regardless, I went in hoping for something more from Daredevil: Born Again and I didn't get it. What I got was a watered down version of the original series, and after watching all nine episodes of the season, it's safe to say that this did not live up to the strength of the original. I wish I didn't have to compare it to the original but it's hard not to when it's billed as a continuation. The acting performances were my favorite part but it was hindered by a meandering story and an incredibly weak script. Hopefully the second part will be better but my expectations are low at this point.

Had a great chat with @jonmchu about his impressive career, from starting in Step Up 2: The Streets to Crazy Rich Asians' success to the Academy Award nominated Wicked. I always love talking with filmmakers and seeing their perspectives on storytelling and I really admire Jon's approach and the way he grabs hold of every opportunity to learn and incorporate something new. I can't wait to see Wicked: For Good and all the other projects he has cooking up (including a musical for Crazy Rich Asians) and I'd like to thank Jon for being so gracious with his time. Saw him when I went for a smoke break during the CCAs this past weekend and so happy he won he best director, it is very much deserved! As always, thanks to the @collider team for helping me get this profile set up and thanks @westlifebunny for the support! Read the whole profile in the link in my bio!
Finally able to post this profile interview I had with @stephaniehsuofficial for @collider . I absolutely loved getting to talk to Stephanie about her career and discussing not only her work on shows like The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and her new series, Laid, but also in her role as Joy Wang in Everything Everywhere All At Once.
My favorite moment was us talking about Flubber as one of our favorite movies. I used to go movie hopping with my grandma and my cousin growing up. We'd buy a ticket for one movie and spend the whole day jumping around different movie theaters (it was only minor fraud, don't come for me!) and I remember one movie being Flubber that we watched as a trade off to whatever else my grandma wanted to watch. She'd pack her bag with snacks and Sprites and we'd be on our way to the movies. I've never met a single other person to name that as a favorite movie and listening to her thought process behind it made me realize that we loved it for the same reasons. It was such a privilege to get to speak to her and talk not only about her progress as an actor but also how she navigated the industry as an Asian American woman.
Thanks, as always, to the team that I work with every day for the amazing support and thanks to Stephanie for being so open and willing to lean in and dig deep into these topics.

Thank you for having me on your panel @rottentomatoes and always happy to rep @collider and hang out for a bit at @sunrisecollective.us house! ❤️ And am I me if I don't shout out The Ugly Stepsister (coming to @shudder ) and also my fave Wong Kar Wai films? #sundance
My official first profile article for @collider ! This was such a labor of love and something that I am both extremely proud of and also was extremely stressed by this past few weeks. Carrie-Anne Moss is such an amazing actor, and I've idolized and loved Trinity for years. Getting to talk with her about life and her career was a treat and also an amazing learning experience. She is such a unique person and her approach to Hollywood and her life is so evolved.
During the interview,I told her that we could die at any minute (because I do think that is true, thanks @theladykayb for that life lesson) so life is too short not to do what you want. I apologized for being so morbid but she immediately said, "No, that's actually not morbid," and I realized we were on the same wavelength. We talked about life and taking risks to overcome mental challenges. We talked about The Matrix, and The Acolyte, and Memento. She was so generous and honest with her answers, it was honestly unlike any interview I ever had. Thanks so much to @westlifebunny for all the support through this process, and the whole features team (who are hands down the best coworkers) for the moral support. This has been such a dream!
