The crews of Engine, Truck, and Medic 15 from the Eastview Station were participating in vehicle rescue drills this morning when they were interrupted by two separate working fires in their first due area on the unit block of Lombardy Drive and the 7300 block of Belmont Avenue.
Units worked alongside personnel from neighboring stations to extinguish the fires, search for occupants, and treat victims before returning to service.
Our pal @SignalWoman says drivers should give bikes at least 3 feet of clearance when passing. It’s the law in Maryland. And remember, bicycles are vehicles with the same rights and responsibilities on the road.
