We’re stoked to announce our first foray into teaching teens in our space! @jackie_deconti will be teaching a series of two workshops on June 17th and 24th from 6:30-7:30pm. 🌸
Working with all of the senses to understand and enjoy herbal medicine, students ages 14-18 will get to blend teas, craft botanical remedies, and get to know new ways of tending to their bodies!

Join Brittany Huehuexichtil Acosta in the first of a four part series, and learn how to work with the 13 winds (or states of emotion) within your emotional landscape.
Through the lens of traditional Mexican Medicine, this first class will offer practical tools to begin working with the states of miedo (fear), susto (soul loss), espanto (fright) and angustia (anxiety). You will learn about the foundations and lineage of Curanderismo, be guided through a simple ritual practice, and create a ritual bath to support grounding and integration. Each student will leave with herbal ingredients and recipes, a hand designed workbook, and information on each of the 13 winds that’ll be taught in the series of classes. Expect an informational and interactive class.
This series will be taught on the first Wednesday of each month, May through August, from 6:30-8:30pm. Come to one, or all of the classes— no prior knowledge of herbalism or traditional Mexican medicine is required.
