Welcome to ‘Balanced with Bec’ 👋🏼💙 I’ve decided I wanted to create this page to share more about my passion for health and fitness. I practice a really balanced approach to nutrition and am passionate about helping people find this balance in their own lives and remove the mental strain surrounding food 🤯 I’m a qualified nutritionist and have had over 5 years experience in nutrition coaching. My approach has really evolved over the years and I’ve loved working 1:1 with clients to help them achieve their desired goal ✅ Building a positive relationship with food goes beyond just the food we eat. Thanks to everyone for coming out in the cold last night and making it what it was, especially the whole basement team including Bec! Six weeks, heaps of effort and plenty to be proud of. 👏🏽🩶 From goal setting, habit stacking to nutrition tips, weekly runs and of course turning up to strength and cardio classes week in, week out! Our OC2 crew has shown up, backed themselves and stuck to the plan. The Optimal Change Challenge isn’t just about results, it’s about accountability! Locking it in, showing up and following through. For the ladies in the back 📣 Repeat after me: “Strength training will NOT make me bulky!” When you lift weights, you’re sending a signal to your body to get stronger. In response, it repairs and builds muscle. BUT muscle doesn’t just appear overnight… To “bulk up,” you need a calorie surplus; consistent energy intake, high protein, enough carbs and fats, plus rest. It’s a process that takes time, structured training, and a solid nutrition plan. If you lift and eat to your body’s needs. You will:
