We are constantly challenged as builders.
Paul (client) wanted us to build him a suspended marble dinning table.
We suspended the Marble top off a 90mm Channel Beam which counter levered from within an adjoining cabinet.
Result- Smiling Client.
Paul Lyons (our client) was an avid fan of the Architect , Tom Kundig. We had a lot of fun with exposed raw steel on this project.
My best mate and surfing buddy ,Mark Brown from Shop Metal Industries Fabricated Door Jambs, Window Canopies and external Claddings.
It was one of Marks last projects with us. He Sadly died of a brain tumour a year later. I miss working and surfing with Mark,he was a great mate!
Project we did for Pleysier Perkins Architects.
I have loved working with the team at Pleysier Perkins over the years. We have done some really beautiful projects together.
My good mate David Kerr won the Pool and spa award for Australia for this negative edge creation.
Stack bond brick work.
Brad Mudge is always my go to man ,when it comes to bricks ,blocks or stone work.
We have worked together for over 25 years. He always makes my projects look awesome.
The day he gives up brick work , will be the day I hang up my hammer.
I love this man like a brother!!!!!!
Brad is also a talented carpenter when he decides to dong the hammer. A true alrounder!!!!!
Have you ever noticed that builders often
"Stage" their completed projects for the
completion photo shoot. Our model didn't turn up . We used this guy. Adam Markowitz........ He just so happened to be the Architect........he even looks like an Architect !!!!!!!!
You can't have a Markowitz designed house with out his hand crafted furniture.
We were given strict instructions.... no mattress till the house is completed!
Check out the bed head and side tables.
I have one of Adams hand crafted beds.......Love it
Something is missing????
Add a wood burning fire box and the picture will be complete!
