Sometimes, I paint pictures about facing daylight and the verity it exposes on those accustomed to darkness.
And sometimes, I just want to show you a picture of it.

Wonder Bread | 16 x 20 | Oil on Linen | 2026
I used to live on a hill outside of town; it had a winding road. On the left side: the elk mountains, hay meadows, magnificent sunsets. On the right side: a sea of sage, fencing, and this Wonder Bread truck. There wasn’t much reason to look that way.
For some reason, I found myself drawn to the right side of the road.
I never knew why it was there. Something I’ll just have to wonder about I guess. What a gift.
