“Good To Go” by @evnharris
This album was a joy to make. Each of the 10 songs feels like a window into a vivid and treasured sensory memory for me. It’s a blessing when it feels easy to have loving awareness in the act of doing/being/creating.
Evan is a special artist. He has a profound sense of depth and honesty. He has an innate gift for cultivating intimacy. He sees the beauty around us and helps me see it too. I am honored to help him make his music and grateful to be his friend.
I did a lot of things I love on this project. I got to mix and co-produce every song on the record. I got to be a recording engineer, tracking all the vocals and lots of other fun things like lap steel, mandolin and an amazing sounding Martin. I got to make whole songs from scratch in my studio. I got to play some drums, bass and keys. I got to learn from other incredible engineers whose work I admire. I got to help track a super vibey band in a gorgeous room. I got to make new friends. I got to get my mixes mastered by one of my favorite mastering engineers.
Thanks to anyone who listens to this and feels it. Thanks Evan for the trust. And thanks to everyone who worked on this with us 💙

Making music with my friends is such a privilege and a gift. The more music I make on this earth, the more I realize that patience, presence and openness are the real skill set. • been less inclined to talk about the music lately • thinking about when david lynch said “the film is the talking” and i really feel that • but i love to talk so here it goes • everybody arrives in this life carrying some precious cargo • no two loads are quite alike, that’s one of the things that makes your cargo so precious • i think a big part of our purpose here is just to deliver the cargo • if you’ve received this transmission, you’ve helped me fulfill that purpose, and i am very grateful to you for that • i have a lot more inventory on the truck, c u soon •
