We are so proud to frame this incredible painting for Karma for the Art Riddler Exhibition opening tomorrow in Charlemont Square. Karma Shawa is a visual artist based in Dublin, born and raised in Jordan to a Lebanese mother and Palestinian father. This painting is titled ‘Helen’s Night Watch’. We kept the framing simple with a deep walnut tray frame.

What a pleasure it has been to frame this new series of work from Irish Vietnamese Artist Duc Van Pham. We kept it simple with a White Opengrain Tray Frame. Duc’s exhibition ‘Multifaceted’ opens today at 6pm in Flux Studios on Chatham Street in Dublin. It runs through until Sunday 12th 1-6pm.

This is a large print of a painting by Palestinian artist Heba Zaqout. Tragically, Zaqout’s life was cut short in 2023, when an Israeli airstrike hit her residential area, killing her and one of her sons. The attack not only claimed her life but also destroyed her body of work, leaving a void in the artistic community. The destruction of her paintings, which were filled with life and color, symbolises a larger loss for Palestinian culture and history.

This one was a big job - this Graham Knuttel planting is a deep canvas so it needed a deep box frame. It is set into white Opengrain wooden frame with a Snow White background. By using invisible anti reflective museum glass it is the perfect balance between 99% conservation grade UV protection and clarity.

We love this recent framing of an embroidered artwork by Irish Artist Domino Whisker. The piece was gifted to the Palestinian Amabassador Dr. Jilan Wahba Abdalmajid. We used a simple soft white conservation mount, a waxed ash frame and anti reflective museum glass.

We had the honour of welcoming the Palestinian Amabassador Dr. Jilan Wahba Abdalmajid and @embassyofpalestineireland official Tara Harrison for lunch in The Bank today We first met last month when we screened 17 shorts created by the talented, gorgeous children of Gaza under the guidance of @animator_haneen and @shorouqnahed . We gifted her a specially commissioned artwork by the incredibly talented and kind @dominowhisker , alongside a beautiful handmade scarf by her equally talented mother @mariadwhisker This piece was kindly framed in record time by our friends in @baggot_framing

This beautiful vintage Kennedy poster had all the tears and creases of its age and surface mounting it with a double mount really showed that off. Fragile vintage posters can be delicate to display but with conservation mount board and anti reflective glass this is now preserved and can be displayed knowing it won’t deteriorate any further.

This was an exciting piece to work on last year - a limited edition Victor Vasarely print measuring a meter square. Framed with a soft white conservation mount with a rose gold metal frame and museum glass. Sunshine in a frame! 🌞 Victor Vasarely (Hungarian-French, 1906 – 1997) Mexico City, 1982 Serigraph on paper Widely considered a father of the Op Art movement, Victor Vasarely was known for his colorful paintings and serigraphs. The artist took inspiration from various European influences including Bauhaus design principles, Surrealism, Constructivism, and Wassily Kandinsky (Russian, 1866 – 1944). Vasarely’s works are noted for their ability to create illusionary depth with color, geometric repetition, and strong graphic designs.
