Después de Gore Insanity llegó Hellbender (±2002), una banda bogotana de heavy metal con influencias de Stratovarius, Edguy y Avantasia.
La formaban El Boss (Sergio González), El Simpson (Felipe) —actual guitarrista de Las FAB—, Kike, Daniel, El Shine en los teclados, El Numy en la batería y yo en el bajo, reemplazando a R.
Más que una banda, fue un parche de amigos, unidos por la música, los ensayos eternos y las ganas de tocar sin pretensiones. Un grupo que, pese al paso del tiempo, sigue vivo en la amistad y en los recuerdos de esa época donde todo era puro impulso y metal.
