HAPPY 69th GHANA INDEPENDENCE DAY! 🇬🇭 Today we celebrate our Today we celebrate our Badu Global leaders, Fatima and Linda, game changers shaping and driving change in their communities. They share what Ghana's independence means to them, their journey leading Badu Global, and how far we have come together as we continue to grow and reimagine what is possible. Their stories remind us why empowering women in leadership on the ground matters, building pride, progress, and stronger communities. #GhanalndependenceDay #thebaduway

Not every child gets the chance to be seen. Some places are full of talent, but no one ever looks their way. That’s why the visit by Badu Foundation to Hlevi D/A Basic School meant so much. They didn’t just come with football jerseys and sporting gears — they came because they saw something special in these kids. Real talent. Raw potential. 🎥: @rexkrampa

Rejoice. BADU Lead, Ghana. Volta Region. In rural Ghana, often unseen, the work starts by telling the truth: the talent, skill, and strength already exist. Sport becomes the tool to unlock it, grow it, and reimagine where women and girls stand and lead. This is the work. Built in the heart of Hlevi DA Basic School. Designed for when we win. Support the movement. Fundraising link in bio or visit Badu Café to get your jumper! We Don’t Grow Alone — Ghana. #thebaduway #thatmomentwhen

That moment when girls in Ghana lead their space in sport. Only 16% of the young people we reach each week are girls. We are changing that by creating access, building confidence, and opening real pathways through sport. Here’s how you can support: 1. Invest in our Girls’ Fund (link in our bio!) Directly support programmes that give girls the space, coaching, and resources to thrive. 2. Buy a ‘We Don’t Grow Alone’ Jumper @thebaducafe Every purchase funds women’s and girls’ sport in Ghana. One for you, one for her. 3. Share the Story Help us grow the movement by amplifying the work and raising awareness. Your support builds moments where girls not only take part — they lead. Because we don’t grow alone. #themomentwhen #thebaduway

40 girls. Volta Region. Hlevi D.A Basic School. Young girls aged 6–16 — it starts with her. From rural communities where they’re often unseen, we stand beside local leaders to build with them, not for them, so that when these girls win, the whole community wins. Our spotlight work in Volta is intentional and deeply rooted. We are building on the capacity and confidence of young women in sport, led by two incredible leaders: Agnes and Rejoice. Exercising the BADU Way in action, our local leaders are creating spaces of pride and trust — from classrooms to pitches — where girls belong, thrive, and lead. Together, we are raising the next generation women leaders, who are driving the reimagining of opportunities for themselves, their communities and most importantly, for rural Ghana. This is the BADU Way. #thebaduway

Beyond the Game. At BADU, deep impact starts with being bold. Sport isn’t just a tool for play, it’s a tool for innovation, growth, and knowledge. From urban to peri-urban to rural spaces, we’re building with communities, not just for them, shaping what they would’ve needed to win. Take a look at our development hub in Ablekuma, where our local coaches, Sule and Eugene, are on the ground driving engagement, creating safe spaces for young people — especially young women and girls to thrive through football. This is just the beginning. We’re growing across Ghana, building local leaders and collectives who carry the work forward. It starts with you. Keep watching this space. 🌍 #thebaduway

From East to Global 🌍 Meet Musa, our BADU lead at the Kanda Development Hub. At BADU Ghana, our mission is to build on the talent and knowledge we already have, using sport to drive sustainable social innovation. We’re not here just to make footballers, we’re here to develop people. Every week, over 100 young people aged 10–18 come together at Kanda Park, Accra, learning the fundamentals of sport and how teamwork, confidence, and community are built through play. At BADU, it’s all about high performance, excellence, and most importantly, creating safe spaces where young people and communities can thrive. A huge appreciation to our team on the ground for leading, listening, and taking action to build what they need to win as a community. Keep following along as we grow and move forward together 💚⚽ #thebaduway #proud2be

Accra became the heartbeat of Africa’s energy future. ⚡🇬🇭 For the first time in over three decades, AOW:Energy moved from Cape Town to Ghana — bringing together ministers, investors, and innovators to chart a new course for the continent. From oil and gas to renewables, one message echoed across the halls: Africa is ready to power its own growth. This wasn’t just an event — it was a statement. A call for collaboration. A vision for an Africa where investment, innovation, and inclusion go hand in hand. 🌍💡 . . #thebaduway #badu #africa #ghana #accra #aow #energy #leadership #youthempowerment

Local Action, Global Impact 🌍 Our Founder & CEO, Dr. Nana Badu, together with Badu Africa Lead, Nana Koduah, visited our incredible team in Ghana— a team that embodies The Badu Way every single day. This was a reflection of how local leadership, vision, and collaboration can shape lasting impact from the ground up. 🇬🇭 Since the establishment of BADU Ghana NGO in January, the team has been working tirelessly across Accra, and the Volta Region, driving innovation and community-led projects that respond to real, local needs. From supporting young athletes to creating sustainable spaces for growth, this is the work that turns vision into movement. During the She Plays Ghana launch in Hlevi, Volta Region, we witnessed the spirit of community in its purest form. Educators, traditional leaders, young people, and families came together — standing side by side to celebrate the power of girls in sport and the importance of building spaces where women can truly thrive. It wasn’t just an event; it was a moment of unity, belief, and shared purpose. The Badu Way goes beyond a strategy or framework — it’s a mindset. One that believes in deep social impact, in listening first, and in empowering communities to lead their own change. What’s happening in Ghana is part of a larger story — a movement rooted locally but resonating globally. 🌍 This is how change grows. This is how purpose becomes progress. We are #Proud2Be part of it. #thebaduway
