Two of the main forces behind PNW soundsystem crew 3RDKLTR, Bad Robbo and the Student live and breathe DIY underground sound system culture constructing their own rig to power camps at the Autonomous Mutant Festival as well as countless parties in the Portland area from upcoming renegade crews, to the mighty Spring Breakcore and Tarantella, and well as their own parties. 3RDKLTR has become the central hub for portland based breakcore, hardcore, and experimental electronics and these two are the visionaries and behind the scenes glue keeping it all together.
One of the most genuine of people around, and never one to shine the spotlight on himself, we’ve witnessed Bad Robbo discreetly drop some of the most creative live hardware sets we’ve ever witnessed. Weaving breakcore, freetek, and straight up rave, his sound is an unfiltered look into the building blocks of underground electronics. We’re hyped to bring him on to our full rig for the first time, and to command peak hours.
The Student brings a dancefloor veteran's approach to sound and organizing. Raver to the core, he’s often found grooving hard on a sunrise dancefloor with the same 'in the pocket' vibe he carries behind the decks. When dawn hits, look over your shoulder and you’re damn near certain to see the Student giving you a knowing nod, a smile wide across his face, and an energy that gives you another wind instead of heading to bed. Known for vinyl sets of cutty tekno selections, with deep knowledge of the music, and ability to thread stories together with ease, we're psyched to put him in the drivers seat of the rig.

I'll be playing some of my music at this party in northern California next weekend and am excited to be added to such an amazing lineup of artists/ friends and to get the chance to play on such an amazing sound system!
Tonight! We're doing a little fundraiser for our trip to the 28th annual Autonomous Mutant Fest. Buy some merch eat some pizza, drink some drinks and help us throw a 2 week long free tekno party in the woods!
I'm playing some of my music at the Social Justice Action Center (SJAC) tonight to help raise some money for my long time friends and collaborators the Roots and Beats Project!
Mushy content warning! I don’t post much (at all really) on social media, but felt like acknowledging the joy and inspiration that this incredible woman has brought to my life over the last couple of years. If you know her then you know how passionate, caring, smart, funny, powerful and talented she is. There aren’t enough positive adjectives to describe her character and beauty. If you’ve never met I hope you are lucky enough to get the chance and be uplifted by her presence. I thank the universe for bringing us together and I thank you Kiara— my love, for enriching my life and the volumes of wonderful memories we’ve made together. I look forward to you every day.
I am playing this show on Friday at AZOTH in Portland. I go on just after 10 pm and have a bunch of new material. This lineup is crazy and i'm honored to be a part of it!
