My inner child is so proud of what the adult one is achieving ❤️🩹✨🌙
She have always wanted to be a dancer and share her art, but she thought she would never be able to, or that she wouldn’t be capable or talented enough. Till this little girl discovered pole, she knew there was something ready to thrive in so many ways.
The first time I thought about coming to the USA 🇺🇸 my intrusive thoughts started to come, but after reflecting and sitting with them, I thought about my main goals for this trip: stabilising relationships and creating new connections. What could go wrong? Nothing! So I said, Alba, just do it! And I did it. Girl, I was scared AF. You never think you are ready to be sharing your craft with beautiful dancers around the world... But I did it. And I loved it!!! Damn.

I’ve always done things with fear since I was very, very young, and thanks to everything that has happened to me in life, I’m showing this little girl that she can achieve whatever she wants — only if she does it from a place of love and gratitude 🫱🏼🫲🏽 So here I am, with my heart full of beautiful memories, incredible connections, new opportunities and experiences, and a bag full of hopes (although that’s always been in that bag 🥰🥰)

To me this is a VERY important question. I want an inclusive environment, where your sensuality and integrity matter. Where you are seen and where your flow is valued. Where “being a sl*t is ok.” 🔥 Everybody is welcome and you are more than welcome to feel free and to be yourself, the dirtier the better 🫦
Find your tribe and find your community, respect other and be supportive. If your studio doesn’t align with your values, just find another one! ⛓️💥

I started pole sport in my city, but I fell in love with the skripp3r heels thanks to @kitty_velour when I lived in Manchester. She used to be a skripp3r, and I thought: “This style, this thing, this is for me!!! I wanna dance like them and truly do it” And I meant it 😛
Other influences that have shaped this community and they keep doing it, and that have been very positive influence to me in so many ways are: @gemmaragepole@karamel.aura@estefjimpa@dorisarnoldpoledancer@carmineblackdance@lolaograce@chillirox , Bobbis, etc
Also adding some friends from Australia who advocate for SWs and fight for rights, like @paigecooper___ , who also runs one of the first freestyle competitions in Sydney @xxpresscomp and @basjia@basjiaforever who is a role model and an advocate for the BIPOC community ❤️🔥
I’m also adding some studios like the one from my friends at @dualitypole who are super inclusive (plus is a very beautiful studio in Sydney) andddd I won’t finish if I keep going! This is a loooong list.
