Sitting at Circle House Studios, listening to the legendary @badboysofreggae rehearse while enjoying some good Jamaican food, was one of those moments I’ll never forget.
As we sat there, Ian Lewis started sharing stories with me about some of the artists who had stayed at the studio over the years.
Hearing those memories in the very place where so much music history was made, made it even more special.
This was a reminder of how powerful it is to be surrounded by the sounds, stories, and experiences that connect us to home and our culture.
Moments like this are a big part of why I do what I do with Nine Mile Babies.
