If you are visiting Odense during the @hcafestivals , don´t miss our first collaboration with #VILLEVAU in @hcandersens.hus We will present the project we have been carefully crafting during last months, and we can´t wait to share it with you and your kids! But what exactly is gonna happen there??

"Paper and pixel - Workshop and performance
If you want to help create a beautiful visual world - join the Paper and Pixel workshop.
The Berlin-based artist duo BADABOOMBERLIN has teamed up with H.C. Andersens Hus - Ville Vau to create a magical performance in Odense and they need your help! You will come into the engine room and contribute your own imaginative papercuts, which BADABOOMBERLIN will then use in their engaging performance. The papercuts are based on H.C. Andersen's fascination and fear of technology, as well as some of his more unknown adventures. By attending the workshop, you are also guaranteed a place at the performance Paper and Pixel - A Visual Wonderland. Here you can experience your own clips in full force in an exciting animation with light, sound and projections. After the performance, you will of course take home your clip.
Andersen's fascination with the modern technology of the time - the railway and the telegraph line between Europe and America. The performance revolves around the enthusiasm for technology found in the fairy tales, but also explores the fear and anxiety of technological development. Is technology good or bad? Does it bring us closer together or further apart? These are questions H.C. Andersen asked himself - questions we are still trying to find answers to 200 years later."
