Sitting here after another horrible weekend for this country. Sickened and saddened that 25 years later I’m finding this album still as relevant as when it first graced my ears and changed my life when I was just 17 years old. I put this on today while making hot cocoa for my two children who thankfully have no idea just how fucking horrible things have gotten. It’s small, but music has always provided some sort of comfort in times like these. As a dumb punk kid back in high school I’d already long felt the lies we’ve been fed in my guts. Songs like these keep my angry, and we should all stay very, very angry right now. Sadly we’re in an even worse place in 2026. 17 year old me had a little more hope I guess, but my anger for all of the lies remains strong. If you don’t feel like doing normal shit right now, that’s ok. And if you need to vent or cry or yell or break shit, get at me. I’ll be unemployed and ready after next week. ❤️
