🎉 Exciting news! Thanks to a $350,000 grant from the Weaver Foundation, BackPack Beginnings has officially launched the Guilford County Diaper Bank — the 3rd diaper bank in North Carolina.🎉
Thanks to this generous grant, we anticipate distributing over 1 million diapers this fiscal year. In addition, as a member of the National Diaper Bank Network, this designation allows us to bring even more vital resources, awareness, and assistance to families in Guilford County—creating an even greater impact than before. 👶💙💚
Over the past 5 years, with steady assistance from the NC Diaper Bank, along with local community and national support, we’ve grown from distributing 9,820 diapers in 2020 to over 945,000 this past year through 41 diaper distribution partners, our Family Market, and Diaper Walk-in Program.
1 in 2 U.S. families struggle to afford enough diapers. We are excited to bring much needed awareness and resources to our county through this new diaper bank. 🍼✨

🚚 Weekly food bag orders are packed, loaded, and ready! 💙
Each week, we distribute 1,900+ food bags to local schools, healthcare organizations, and housing authority sites 🍎📚🏥
We also provide allergy bags to help meet the dietary needs of elementary students. 🌟

🚨Boys’ Clothing Needed🚨
Now that spring has sprung, we have gaps in our boys’ clothing and need help! 🙏 If you notice your son’s t-shirts are a little shorter than they remember, or they’ve outgrown their shorts, we would love to find a new home for their gently used clothing! 👕🩳 We need boys’ clothing from sizes 5 - 16.
