I’m so happy to share the video to our first single ”Simple Things” from our upcoming album, out November 28 on Whirlwind Recordings.
It features one of my favorite musicians of all time, Genevieve Artadi, who wrote the lyrics and filmed herself recording in her studio in LA - and my longtime favorites Jonas Bäckman on drums and Jon Henriksson on bass.
This is the very first take we filmed at the Village Recording in Copenhagen, while recording the album with the greatest August Wanngren (sound engineer & mix) and Jonas Lyngdam (camera & editing). Mastered by the dream team, Sofia von Hage and Thomas Eberger at Stockholm Mastering.
Produced by me together with my dear Jonas Bäckman, who I can’t thank enough for all the hours of detailed work with this album. Huge thanks also to Michael Janisch - executive producer, label boss, and talented bassist - for believing in and releasing it.
The album cover photo was taken by my dear friend Elvira Glänte, who followed me around in Årsta forest in Stockholm and captured some incredible shots. The album design is by the creative Brian Hanlon.
