This is quite a special snake custom guitar strap I made and I love how it turned out. What do you think?

Special thanks to @backbeatleather for providing me with a custom Firebird guitar strap, please go check out her work - she is an incredibly skilled leather artist and also a lovely person!
- BTW if you are the author of any of these photos or videos please let me know and I will tag you!
These last few months have been pretty intense, and I feel incredibly grateful.
I still remember the first time I sold a strap, 18 years ago.
A friend and I had been experimenting with leather for a month and ended up with three very wonky straps. With ink-stained hands and the sealant still wet, we walked into a guitar shop and said, โCan we show you some straps we made?โ
The guy looked pretty dismissive. Two young women in a menโs world โ and handmade straps werenโt really a thing back then (at least not in Argentina).
We put the three straps on the counter. Iโll never forget his face. His eyes opened wide and he started calling his colleagues over. We sold our first straps right there.
We walked out playing it coolโฆ and the second we turned the corner, we started jumping up and down like idiots. I couldnโt believe someone thought what I made was worth paying for. WTF.
Eighteen years later, I still get that buzz every time someone buys a strap, and Iโm forever grateful I get to do this for a living.
Thank you for being part of it ๐ซถ
