Very light Comic-Con recap for my personal page. It was a wild time. Many things aren't shown here, but the important parts are: friends, Mark Twain, and pretending to be a Star Trek captain.
Had the pleasure of meeting some really talented filmmakers, and got to spend half a week with some of my favorite people. What a great trip.
Also we won Best Humor Film for Hello My Name is Friend-Man and that's pretty neat. Okay bye. Maybe post again in a year we'll see.

Yesterday marks one year that Maggie and I moved to Cincinnati. It doesn't feel like a year but at the same time Cincinnati has been so welcoming I feel like I've been here forever.
I've worked on multiple sets so far and met really kind people in the production industry who have shown me it's possible to be successful and kind wherever you live. One of the coolest opportunities I've gotten while being here is being able to help open up a comedy club called The Commonwealth Sanctuary. It's one of the coolest places if I do say so myself and I'm so gosh darn proud of Dad, Jacoba, and Shawn. (Shawn you're one of the best dudes I know. You inspire me on the daily, but apparently not enough for me to have a picture of you on my phone.)
Not only are the new things great, but we get the incredible opportunity to continue seeing our friends Bryce and Kayla every week. (I don't say it enough but Bryce it brings me so much happiness that I get to be your friend. Growing up with you since high school has been a gosh darn privilege. And Kayla I'm so happy you're apart of Bryce's life because you're apart of our lives too. You are one of the kindest and creative people I know. P.S. sorry the photo of you two looks like I'm stalking you. But I thought that was funny and also Star Wars bar.)
I also want to shout out Sydney, and while you may not live here anymore, you were one of the first friends I made here and I obviously couldn't make a photo collage without showing off the collage I made when we collaged together.
So many things aren't shown in this collage but the highlights include learning the proper touch technique, my first car dying (rip James,) accidentally going to a Dolby experience movie by myself, sitting on a slide, going thermal, showing up to set so early I got a cool picture of a bridge, walking through a really cool cemetery, and getting to show off the city to my brother Sean (congrats on our FM win.)
Lastly, Magatron. I live with you at this point, and you know my feelings. But this year, past years, and future years, are only as good as they are because you're in them.
What a good year.
A good last year at a place that taught me the rule of thirds in every darn class I took.
I was extremely fortunate to be a 21st century scholar which means the tax payers' money went towards me taking an online walking class, taping hot dogs on my hands, and participating in a graduation ceremony that I was simultaneously working. And that's just things I did this year. I will miss a lot of the people that I had the pleasure of knowing during my time here. (even some who aren't tagged)
Big crew, skeleton crew, gaff tape shoes, and pizza. Fanta, file clerk, psychopath's script, and more pizza. Rowdy men, lightsabers, hotel floor, and pizza. Frisbee, running, screaming in a booth, and Jimmy John's forgetting our cookies.
I'm proud to have worked with everyone on this film and thank you for tolerating me as your dictat- I mean director. I already miss being on set with everyone. I'm sorry not everyone is tagged or pictured.

This was such a wild and different season. I'm super proud of everyone who worked on this season. I will miss those who are leaving, and I'm grateful that so many of you will be returning. I will see you next year. Feels like too long. Unlike last time, people are pictured.
