Sometime in 2024, during the Anambra Innovation Week, I was randomly strolling with my camera when something caught my attention — a beautiful, colorful table filled with fresh produce, garden crops, and food items.
It pulled me closer.
And when I approached the woman behind the table, she began to share her story with me.
She spoke about how she received garden seeds through Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo, planted them in her own space, nurtured them consistently, and over time, turned that little beginning into something meaningful.
Not just food for the home… but a full business. I immediately knew this was more than just a nice setup for pictures. It was evidence of something bigger. Because what if healthy living was not just a message… but a system that actually works?

Ever heard of Nonye Soludo Pad Bank? 😌
Led by Her Excellency, this initiative ensures that no girl has to navigate her period in discomfort, fear, or embarrassment while in school.
Today, every school across the 21 local government in Anambra state now has pad banks in place.
Each school has a portal where they go to access pads for every girl. Whenever a school runs out of pads, they simply request for more through the portal.
Every female child in Anambra state has access to the Nonye Soludo's pad bank.
Providing sanitary pads to every girl who needs them, exactly when they need them.
It is a reminder that when we create safe and supportive environments for young girls, we empower them to show up fully confident.🤍
