This is the second live show of “Baby Ja Jazz“ with even less time to prepare.
For this round, we invited Due
@duesduedues from
@noir_cmi to redesign the entire structure of the show, extending the set to fit the program timing while making the Jazz more defined. That structure was then developed by
@babyscash and
@riothuntt shaping the two-DJ opening section before transitioning into the full band performance in the middle of the set.
All of that brought out the essence of “Baby Ja Jazz” in a way that felt smooth and enjoyable. With effortlessly cool drum grooves by
@chaweeed , who stepped in for Peng this time with hints of UK Jazz in the groove — reminded us of Chris Dave at moment, while Due layered in piano parts with a touch of Robert Glasper’s mood, making the direction of Siam Jazz even more defined.
