For Sale by Auction: Iconic Prints by Storm Thorgerson
Storm Thorgerson, the legendary Cambridge-based art director, is best known for his iconic collaborations with Pink Floyd throughout their career. As a founding member of the design studio Hipgnosis, alongside Aubrey Powell, Storm also created groundbreaking album artwork for a host of major artists including Led Zeppelin, 10cc, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and The Cranberries.
In 2009, Storm held an exhibition titled Mind Over Matter at Babylon Gallery. As part of this event, he generously donated two signed prints, including the instantly recognizable Dark Side of the Moon artwork, originally created for the CD release of the album.
Auction Details:
Two framed prints, each approximately 16" x 16" and 16"x18" (excluding mounts and frames)
Starting reserve: £1,250 per print
