Roughly 7 months ago, I started dreaming up what it would be like to go to an industry event that felt cozy and casual (read: not a trade show, not a stuffy cocktail hour) but also full of discovery; something that could cut through increasingly crowded categories like nonalcoholic beverages, snacks, cookware, linens, chocolates, and canned cocktails by celebrating the really special ones. It turns out, I was wondering would it might look like to host Prix Fixe.
I’m beyond grateful to the 20(!) brands that trusted me to pull off this first suite. They committed to something that hadn’t been done before, and just took my word for it that I truly believe their products are stand-outs that my guests (hospitality pros, content creators, Substackers, cookbook authors, investors, and editors) would love and want to connect with after the event — so much so that I wanted them to represent their entire category.
I couldn’t have pulled this week off without the logistical masterminds
@pommecreative (
@beelzbubb ,
@kileysmith56 ,
@nikiwhelan ) because as if having some of the best hospitality clients in the country wasn’t enough to do, they made time to help me run the suite. Also, the branding looks as good as it looks only because
@hihosylvers made it so.
Lastly, thank you to team
@hotelchelsea for being the dreamiest host partners. I’m going to go take a really long nap now, and then start thinking about the second suite (coming May 2025!) — cheers & goodnight! 🥂
